This remarkable achievement of 1.2 billion apps downloaded occurred the week of Dec. 25 to 31, which also set records with 20 million iOS and Android device activations. Of the 1.2 billion downloads, the U.S. accounted for 42 percent, which is more than the rest of the top 15 countries combined.
